Ari Pulkkinen’s most famous composition so far, Angry Birds theme reflects the sillynes and different phases of anger of the Angry Birds – the first phase is the peaceful phase of the birds when they are happy and have all of their eggs (it’s also famous for its ability to stuck to everyones mind), second phase is when the Birds realise that their eggs have been stolen and the last phase is when the Birds are chasing the pigs for the crimes against birdmanity.
Angry Birds have been waging war with pigs in Halloween, Winter Holidays, Valentine day, St Patrics day and Spring Holidays. All the themes have been composed to fit the occasion accordingly.

The Original Angry Birds sound design was simple – make the birds and the pigs stars of the game and stand out from the other sound design. As for the Angry Bird and pig vocals, the recording sessios were held in Rovio Mobile offices and recorded in ‘jolly’ condition and in a really good mood. This session added pure artistic values to the project which resulted in really odd but somewhat realistic bird and pig sounds. No birds or pigs were harmed in the recording sessions – though rumours told that some game developers had a minor hangover. Learn more
